Air strippers, recoil reducing muzzle brakes and muzzle compensators are legal.

Suppressors, moderators, silencers, ldc's or whatever else folks choose to call them, are designed to reduce the muzzle report and ARE illegal in Canada.

Looks outstanding, a very sharp and clean job.

Question,
I am new to AR etc, What is the function of a Air Stripper?
Some form of Shroud/LDC to quite the muzzle blast down?

Tia,
Don

An air stripper does NOT reduce the muzzle report. It redirects muzzle blast energy in the same manor as recoil reducing muzzle brakes and muzzle compensators do

Function depends upon whom you talk to.

Intended function is to strip muzzle blast from behind the pellet and provide an increase in accuracy.

Some folks believe that adjusting the stripper cone in/out alters barrel harmonics and this is where the accuracy increase comes from. In effect a barrel tuner.

Other folks see it as a shiny bauble...bling.

Little more here; topic38640.html
