My new toy
She's accurate and packs a punch
I started with a qb79

Image

Highlights

Custom repeating breech 8 shot .22 cal manual indexing with detent
Modified Ar2078 stock with Bedliner coating ( dupli color)
Custom Aluminum butt stock extensions and accents
1100 PSI reg and 13 ci bottle
Shoots 14.3 JSB's at 860f/s. Around 56 good shots
Rich from Michigan valve

The truck bed liner spray was easy to work with and I like the feel of the stock. I had to modify the end of the stock to accept the bottle. The HPA
reg has both a high and low side burst disk for safety. I choose the 13 CI tank because it is easier to fill from my hand pump. The tank gauge is visible from a hole in the bottom of the forestock.

You are going to be bombarded with question about the repeating magazine si I might as well be first :P

Did you build the breach and repeating system yourself? Are you going to show details of how it works? :prayer:

Thanks for the kind words guys

Yes i built the breech and magazine. It is indexed manually and stops in position via the detent. The magazine can be removed by pulling on the knob in the back of the breech. The magazine itself is similar to an rws 850 mag in that the pellets are constrained via an oring. The steel breech is also a riser style and provides clearance between the barrel and the tank unlike the stock breech. The Barrel is floated and double set screwed for added rigidity. I'll post some more detailed pics of the mag. The breech and mag will be available for sale. This one was blued by me and is not as dark as I like. My newer version is black oxided and is dark and even

Thanks

Jay

Sexy airgun! I mean it! Very few times have I been inclined to want to hug an airgun & caress it's curves!

The tactical look is well executed & that MB is %110 badass!

Very cool!

Thanks Parker_101

As for accuracy .375" ctc 5 shot groups at 35 yds shooting JSB exacts. Not too bad for the stock barrel.

That is what we have been waiting. Very beautiful!
Could you post more picture about the breech alone? Also, does it work on the QB78D without modify? Since the OD of the QB78D barrel is different from the regular. Love to get one to match my Jack Haley 1" custom tube.
