It will atleast keep you from chugging the thing down every cut, and from burning up drills and lathe toolbits.

thanks, i'll do that. my ol man actually helped me out, but i did the work he just pointed me in the right direction. said i did pretty good. it was a big lathe, next time i'll take some pics of it.

i cant say for sure... could have been? the thing is about 6-7 feet long in total. old beast of a lathe. i know it has a 2 hp motor... not much else i can tell about it...
