I am going to order the trigger as well. Read allot of good things about it. I just took my phantom apart and cleaned up the edges of the stamped metal and spring ends with emery paper. Then gave it a good lube tune. Check this out http://www.airgunhome.com/forumdocs/cr_quest_phantom/ The B18/19 supertune is what I used. It's the same internals as phantom/quest. It's written by the maker of the trigger mod, charlie datuna.

I've heard on very good authority that charliedatuna is not the original maker of the gtx trigger. He had a marketing partnership with the original maker but thats really semantics.

The GTX is an awesome mod. After the install you will have a very soft and short first stage and the second stage breaks like an overripe berry. Very clean and crisp.
In this blog the fellow has done an excellent job of documenting with pictures a complete teardown and lube tune as well.

Sounds like your off to a great start. The Phantom is a great gun for non stop trial and tinker.

Great thanks for the link SMP. 8)

Good discription of the new trigger feel.
I like the whole " Sniper " part of shooting. So upgrading the trigger will be #1 on the list.

And it looks like im going to get many years of fun out of this Phantom .22 :drinkers:

Hopefully I can do it without a spring compressor.
