Thanks Darren, wow that's a great shot count! Are you happy with the accuracy of the .22 at that velocity? I'm still kind of undecided on whether to go with .177 or .22 for a non-pal rifle. I'd only be using it for target shooting so accuracy is top priority. Any other members have a opinion on this? This will be the first quality rifle for me and I'd like to get into some long range shooting. Well, as long range as non-pal can do I guess.

Charles

No such thing as "long range" with non-PAL, but my AT44 in .22 shooting 457fps was dropping targets consistently at 35 yards.
A very accurate and consistent rifle in my experience, I can't imagine anybody being disappointed in one.
If only for targets I'd suggest .177 simply because you'll get a slightly flatter trajectory and less expensive pellets.
For a plinker however, I'd take a .22 as they make pop cans dance much better, especially in non-PAL

Thanks Pumpmaster, if .22 is consistant at 35 yards then I can live with that. I have some metal spinner targets that I'd like to put at that distance. .177 probably wouldn't move them much so I think I'll go with .22. Sniper, is there a update on when the BT65's will be available?

Are there any advantages with one bolt style over another? Are they different "mechanically" or is it mainly just preference?

I may have misread but I think it said that the rear bolt is a straight pull. Anybody know about how far it will come back and if I would have to move my head as a left handed shooter?

Just trying to figure out the options ;)
