Well I have been shooting the Pneuma for a few days and have some interesting info. First of all I tried the O ring removal from the barrel band,s and that resulted in a better grouping, but still not what I was hoping for. Some groups are within 1" and some are larger. so the problem is consistency. Next I tried an O ring around the front sight which put,s the barrel in fairly secure contact with the reservoir. This tightened the group a lot!. The trouble is, it,s been windy since I did the O ring mod, and so I have,nt had a chance to get an accurate test string. I cant help it but I keep comparing it to the Sumatra. The accuracy of which is such that I am now shooting fly,s at 50 yd,s that land on my target,s.
The other thing about the Pneuma that I really hate is the "BOINGGGGG" whenever I fire. Is the Hatsan like that to? Is there a mod to eliminate it or muffle it? The cocking, grind,s, a little as the safety is engaging, but I think that,ll smooth out with use.
The fill probe that came with the gun has blown three O ring,s so far. I had one left, so what I did was swap the black O ring from the dust plug, with the one on the fill probe, and have not blown it in four fill,s so far. I plan to buy more from my local auto part,s place next time I,m in town. The ones they sent with the gun seemed very flimsy. I guess that,s why they sent four replacement,s. A company as large as that could find a better O ring I,m sure.
That,s it for now. I would really like to hear from some Hatsan owner,s about problem,s such as these.Do they have similar little annoyance,s ?
Cheer,s.

The rest of the thread went off topic. To update the original review, I now have over 1000 shot,s through her and the accuracy has stabilized to within a 1" group at 50 yd,s. 1/4" ragged hole at 20 yd,s

Joe I've had the same trouble with my probe but I have a large selection of O-rings and a great woman at the hydraulics place I deal with. She has helped me get almost any O-ring for my AT and BT I have them all here now.

Funny you should ask. Something happened when I tried it yesterday at 75 yd,s. It was as if I were shooting a non pal gun. It seemed like it took forever for the pellet to reach the target and a drop of more than a foot, plus the accuracy was terrible. I hadn't shot it in about 2 week,s, but when I did I was shooting at 50 yd,s, so the drop from 50 to 75 yd,s should have been 2 mil dot,s. Maybe some dirt in the valve, I still don't know, I didn't have time to pump it up that day for more test shot,s, so I switched to the low power tube and she shot perfect at 25 yd,s. I,ll look at it again Monday, Got the grandson for the weekend, so no shooting.

I bought three complete o-ring assortment,s. 1 metric, 1 imperial and one large imperial from a place called the re store , dirt cheap I think $15 bucks each.

It might have had something to do with it, however I have shot down to 80 bar with minimal drop, and that day I was at 150 bar. It was at the freezing point or just above and the gun was in that temp all night. So I'm going to chalk it up to the cold for lack of another explanation. I did fill the gun next day and everything was back to normal.
