Something to consider with regard to the declining participation is the time of year - everyone is outdoors enjoying the nice weather, or on holidays somewhere.
I know that many of the on-line matches take a summer break, and then pick it up again in the fall and winter months when many are confined to shooting indoors at 10M or less due to the wintry weather.

I keep meanin' to participate, but always seem to find myself swamped with numerous other wintertime projects.
Perhaps I will strive to make time this winter. :wink:

Supr may have hit the nail on the head. If your numbers suddenly declined then no worries if the overall trend is slowly downward then it may be time to re-evaluate. A lot of retailers, and service providers are slow his summer. Have no clue what to suggest to help out, hope someone has some good ideas. Never hurts to try them anyhow.

I for one, found it just too damn hard to get those little animals offhand, (even @ 10m), so (personally), it kinda died out for me before it even started.
Just got too frustrated.

I think benchrest might be alright, but perhaps cut the time allotted by half.
Those little guys would still be hard to hit, but not impossible.

Just my dos pesos.

Yup! It is summer. Even so, I found the field target too brutal holding my HW-97K. Some sort of benchrest would be more fun perhaps. Having said that, a big shout out to the fine job of running these monthly shoots. The effort required is greatly appreciated!

I would enjoy a 25 meter [ even 50 m ] shoot for rifles that allows any cal. and shoots at paper targets .
Have it open to any style of shooting - free - bench - support gear - whatever you wish .
