I would use gloves just to pick it up because I would fear cuting myself, even if my tetanus shot are up to date.

372.6 fps w/ .35 cal lead round balls (64 gr.) @ 2000 psi = 19.734 fpe..

I am getting way higher fpe with the .22 cal barrel.
