I had a similar problem and it came down to the sear spring, make sure it's on properly. If you have made some adjustments to the valve, I would think the springs has disengaged. On my Alecto, I found that the sear pin free floats in its holes so when removing the pins to gain access to the valve the sear spring disengaged from its proper location. Once I released my problem, it hasnt happen anymore.

Finally hit the 3000 rounds out of the Alecto, and no problems with the sear since I reset the seat spring. I must say what an excellent air pistol, just wish the operator was better!

From the beginning I have noticed that this pistol has been shooting to the right so I have the rear sight set more to the left, about 2 thirds of the travel. I get the same results freehand and bipod so was wondering if there is something I'm missing. Appreciate any and all feedback!

I must be up around 6000 rounds now, and this pistol is a joy to shoot! Since my last post I have added a "Leapers UTG 3.9in 5 gen Red/green dot" scope, which changed everything for me.

When I "put it all together" I can shoot a 1/4 -3/8in groups at 30ft using JSB Exact Jumbo RS pellets with 5MOA dot.

This Pistol is very pellet friendly! Some shoot better then others but most group nice at 30ft. Ive had a few buddies (not into airgunning) come over and shot bulleyes in my basement, it sells itself! With one pump plinking this gun has no recoil and little sound but with the third it turns heads. I have not yet done any velocity crunching, but this pistol seems extremely consistant no what number of pumps you select to shoot. This gun is such a pleasure to shoot! Its a fairly heavy pistol now that it has a red dot but like anything its all about getting use to it and after shooting about 30-60 rounds a day my arms have adjusted, and im not big guy just tall.

Finally got out this past weekend and got some crony work done, and in general I'm very pleased with what I saw. Using the JSB 14.3gr pellet 1 pump 300fps, 2 pumps 420fps, 3 pumps 475 FPS with spreads averaging 5fps. I was blown away with this pistol consistency in velocities!

Also picked up another red dot to try on the Alecto, a walthers MRS red dot. Much happier with this model over the leader UTG model I have, the dot is cleaner and the weight is less. Seems to be fairly accurate and hold "zero" excellent, so far.

Knappr, after reading your review and checking some videos online, I think this will be my next purchase :)
I have a Walther MRS in the mail - have you used it on any of your other guns - if so, thoughts?

Nearing the 9000 mark on this Alecto now, and its still amazes me! Ive had a few technical difficulties with it 1) trigger spring 2) metal flake obstruction in the valve but other than that this gun is a winner! I might just purchase another one in the future, thats how pleased i am with it!

I could only dream of an aluminum limited edition version! And dream I will......

Got my .22 in the mail yesterday from "hero army surplus" for $250. put about 200 rounds in, really liking it so far. Should be getting my Walter MRS red dot on Tuesday, hope that will help my accuracy at +25 feet. My eyes are a little fuzzy at longer distances. Maybe I'll finally cave and get glasses lol

I have issues when the light is starting to wane seeing the sights clearly. I find the red dot helps quite a bit, but, IMHO, if I were to buy a red dot again, I would spend the extra and get the one with the sizable dot in it. For longer distances smaller targets it is the only way to go.

Not trying to hijack your thread, I figure these pictures are pretty relevant since we have the same Walther MRS red dot ;)
Took these the other day. Really enjoying this red dot, helps with aiming with both eyes open - something I wasn't very good at with the iron sights.
