Hi,
right now I have a TAU (CO2) 200 SENIOR,
and want to upgrade to something like a Styer LG 110 or that level of gun.

Must be PCP.

- it will be shot off the bench - I am physically unable to shoot offhand anymore.

It has to be non-PAL,
so 500fps or under; and purchased in Canada.

I would really appreciate all advice, to help me in the decision :}
...thanks, DH

The slection of non-PAL match rifles is quite limited. There are no detuned Seyr LG110's here that I know of. The best option would probably be to keep your eyes peeled on the classifieds for a used rifle, because they are out there. I scored a great Steyr LG10P used a while back. I believe there are some non-PAL Feinwerkbau P70's in Canada, but I don't think anyone sells them new anymore. If you want to buy new I would shoot an email to Jocelyn at Cibles Canada and see what he can do for you.

Jocelyn Langlois of Cibles Canada usually have Feinwerkbau in stock and they are usually a Non Pal Cert.
Also his Pistols are limited to Under 500 fps.

The P70 for sale on the classified is pal for some reason. I think they registered them if you asked to register. Most match guns now seem to have remained unregistered, as it should be. I was very tempted by that P70 until I saw you needed a PAL to purchase. I have a PAL, but do not want to register any more long guns.

This is the one that caught my eye. Seems like it's a quality rifle, lots of positive feedback.

Looked on his site and saw a Model 700, but maybe there is somewhere on the site I did not look. Pretty hard to go wrong with and Fwb rifle. Many of the top international shooters in 10 meter matches use them.

THE 500 IS ON ANOTHER SITE - YOU CAN JUST GOOG IT TOO.

THE ONLY REAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FWB 700 & THE FWB 500, IS THE COLOR OF THE STOCK. (apparently)
- the Beech stock can be redone in a nice walnut stain, or smtg. like that, if one doesn't like the "blond" stock.
