end up paying 250.00 from them.

im in desperate measures on this rifle now!!

NOBODY in Canada can get this 490fps model BUT Canadian Tire @ 250.00
ive called Wholesale sports (they can only get the 1000fps model)
Powder Keg can only get the 1000fps model and carries the Airhawk (dont like wood stalks)
Walmart....Negative!

Hell even Online its hard to find anything (Ebay, Kijjiji, etc)


Someone please help me bring this Blackhawk to a good home!!

Step2- Go to your local CT store and go straight to the customer service and ask what the policy on price match is (DO NOT SHOW THE PRINTED PAGES RIGHT AWAY) ask if they'll match canadian based ads that are published on the web NOT web store! They won't match web stores pricing.

Price Match Guarantee Policy

Canadian Tire will match any competitor's price on an identical item AND give customers an extra 10% of the lower price in Canadian Tire "money". The competitor's lower price must be verifiable (advertised price, flyer, phone call, etc.)

Whether an item is "identical" will be determined by looking at:
- product features
- brand/manufacturer
- model/size/volume
- warranty

Any questions over whether an item is "identical" will be resolved on a case-by-case basis by the Dealer, Store Manger, General Manager or other appointed Manager.
The Price Match Guarantee program applies to competitor's regular and sale prices.
Exceptions to the Price Match Guarantee program are:
labour, competitors? clearance, bankruptcies, volume discounts, mail-in rebates, wholesale prices not available to the general public, live goods, web-based competitors, propane tank refills.

get the pages out, ask for the rifle at the same price, pay 125$, collect the 10% extra CT money, do not pass go and get out before the manager changes his mind. Airgunsource/Trail is a Canadian brick and mortar store not just a webstore so you should be able to get a price match, if it doesn't work try a different store. Don't be an jerk, be nice to the person answering you, if he/she isn't sure ask to talk to the manager, go early, idealy when there isn't 250 people in a the store and bringing back different items. If there is a line of people at the customer service come back another day, they'll be pissed if you hold up everyone.

May be worth a try, but the Airgun Source Blackhawk is PAL rated, and the listing says "valid PAL required", so they (CT) have an easy out. DOH!

This is frustrating me now!!

when i got a laser sight from CT at 54.00 and later found out Walmart had the same sight in stock,
i soon went back to CT for a price-check..............The associate made a call to the Walmart
to tell me it was a different model# then the one CT carried on hand. I went back to Walmart
myself to look again to see it was EXACTLY the same damn sight. I figured Walmart and
Canadian Tire do different model numbers for this exact effing reason!

i never got the difference back which was approx in the 15.00 range from CT cuz of this BS!

back to the Ruger Blackhawk.....it seems the price is very high at CT, i realize this but....
when anyone check for me on this "Blackhawk" it turns up being the 1000fps muzzle velocity and
that requires a PAL i do not have. Nobody seems to carry it but CT, and all i can get here is a
dumbass Airhawk which is 490fps but has a wood stock on it. (dont like wood rifles)

Buy the Airhawk anyway. If the wood stock doesnt grow on you try trading for the composite stock.

guess i shoulda mentioned the only place near me with an Airhawk is Powder Keg and
they want the same as CT 250.00....REEDONKULOUS!!

Just download the page first and remove the 1000fps and PAL required things. Not that hard.
Not many choices... pay the premium, try to get a price match or forget about it
