I bought that big clamp at home depot tonight, $39- hell of alot easier than making one, costs less I imagine. Ordering the phantom kit maybe tomorrow.

It's super easy. I'm not a guru at this stuff like some of these guys and it took maybe 20 minutes to do.

Well, i got the GTX2 tigger today, and installed it in about 10 mins. It is a HUGE improvement over the stock trigger for sure. I am going to play iwth it a little and take the creep out of it a little.
I intended on buying the replacement spring/seals etc kit, but decided to hold off until i play with the gun @ sub 500 fps.
Would it be worth my time to tear the gun down, cleaning the inside polishing the tube etc?? Will i see much of an improvement in performance?
Does anyone have a video or picture walk through for plugging the bleeder hole to increase the velocity?

After I cleaned, dried, applied molly & relubed mine - it was about 30% smoother. Breaking the barrel, cocking, piston, trigger & ALL improved.
Mine came with actual grit & a sprinkling of metal shavings inside the tube ! Your's may not & as such the results you get may be different.
CAREFUL what kind of oil / moly to put where. Note: the part where the barrel hinges & pivots with the tube does NOT use metal washers & using
corrosive oil will destroy these washers, same goes for all non metallic washers.

Others here will def give you more detailed info - I just wanted to chirp in & say that I have the BS Classic .22 & I saw a definite
improvement from doing the above .
