Bullpup type guns are legal in Canada, visit Kel-tec they have doosy 308 and shotguns. What is considered prohibited is a bullpup stock which converts a regular firarms into a "bullpup".

"2. Any rifle, shotgun or carbine stock of the type known as the “bull-pup” design, being a stock that, when combined with a firearm, reduces the overall length of the firearm such that a substantial part of the reloading action or the magazine-well is located behind the trigger of the firearm when it is held in the normal firing position."

We can legally buy and own bullpub firearms in Canada so I don't see why there will be a problem with a non PAL bullpub airgun as long as it's not used to commit a crime. It's no different than owning a non PAL air pistol which you can mod to your heart's contend as long as it stays non PAL. The problem with bullpub stock is when people are converting their rifles into concealable weapons which the RCMP will have no control of.

My QB89 was opened and inspected by customs, then sent on its way.

Because it was manufactured that way. Same as Tavors (listed here as non-restricted...http://frontierfirearms.ca/index.php/iw ... icted.html) and others that already have an FRT as bullpups. You cannot make bullpup stocks for guns not manufactured as bullpups.

those Tavor guns are bullpups ( scroll down to the 3rd pic in the link) and are not even considered restricted you can buy them as you buy a 12 gauge. I dont think an air rifle with a bullpup stock would be illegal :?
