I just received my CX4 today and I'd thought I'd share my thoughts on the build (as I haven't had a chance to setup and shoot it yet):

Pros:

- Above average build quality (seems durable)
- Realistic weight
- Licensed replica
- Comes in hard case
- Comes with top rail
- accessory rail is nice

Cons:
- Looks like the whole body was moulded into one piece of plastic. I'm not a fan of the "blocked ejection port" on the right side of the gun - it looks too fake. It has detail, but it also looks like it just came from a highly detailed mould.
- Strap connection on the back is fake - it's also a moulded piece of plastic. I would have appreciated it if they made it like the real firearm - shouldn't have costed much more to do that.
- Magazine ejection doesn't use a spring - after pressing the release, the magazine needs to by sort of "pryed" out. It doesn't just fall out.
- Screws on the right side of the gun are not present on the real deal.
- looks like the stock is a bit separated (might just be on mine as I saw the courrier throw the package on the ground)

Overall:
Fairly good replica, however, I would have like to see a bit more attention to detail for the price. The two big things for me are the magazine ejection and the lack of ability to use harness. But I do have to admit that even with my complaints, I've spent the last few hours running around the house with the gun in my hands - and I haven't even loaded the CO2 or pellets yet! It looks so badass that I will be purchasing the real firearm later this year.

Where I bought it from:
DL Airguns
The service from DL Airguns was excellent. I ordered the gun at 4:50pm on Friday (10 mins before closing). The person on the phone was very patient with all of my questions. I called tuesday to follow up as I did not receive an invoice and tracking number. The lady on the phone was very polite and had the tracking number e-mailed to me within minutes and confirmed that it had shipped already. The package came about 2 minutes after I spoke to this lady, but unfortunately, I had already left the house. I would highly recommend DL Airguns and will definitely use them for future purchases.

My problem is with DHL courriers - when I missed the package, they left a sticker/note on the door and it did not indicate when or if they would come back or if I had to pick up the package from their shipping center. Everything on the note was left blank except for the time they came and my name.

I had to call DHL to ask what to do next, where the lady on the phone was quite rude.

When the package arrived today, I left instructions to leave it in my backyard by the sliding door. I was actually inside the house and I saw him walk up and thow the packages - not drop, but throw the boxes from waist level to about 2 feet away. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed off. Unfortunately, I was on the phone with a client and couldn't confront him about his behaviour. The next time I order with DL Airguns, I will request a different shipping method.

Don't wanna be the one bursting your bubble but they ALL handle packages that way. Canada Post, FedEx, UPS.

Sigh - that really saddens me. What ever happened to common courtesy and respect for others?

Anyways, I won't rant. I'm loving the rifle.

Fired of 3 shots using the Walther P22 red dot. It didn't feel very powerful (as expected) but I do need to figure out how to sight it in properly. I'll visit the range and report on accuracy.

I had a chance to shoot the carbine with the irons an with the RDS. At 10M, accuracy is mediocre. I had much better accuracy with the Umarex HK P30. I was forced to reload after each shot due to the rules at the range, so I didn't get to see what the grouping would be like for 39 consecutive shots.

It doesn't seem too powerful, but given that this is the Canadian version, I'm not surprised.

I did enjoy shooting this gun. It's just plain and simple fun. Next up- plinking time!
