Whoa! thank you very much for sharing. I always loved those shoot and see targets, but I always thought they were too dang expensive. Now, I can shoot these targets all I want.

I tried this out. I shot from 9meters with a Crosman 2240 with a 177 barrel.
With wad cutters I found the splater area too large with predators the results were much like a commercial target.
I only tried one type of matte black paint for the targets and think a different paint might control the splater. I will try some different paints as I am sure this will work. It is suposed to warm up in the next few days and I can try some 22 cal. out doors with different pellets.

Tried some gloss black and got a very small splatter.It is not perfect but much better. I have some more brands of paint to try and hope to find the perfect one.Has anyone else tried this yet?

My best results are with Krylon Fusion. I am only shooting indoors right now.Pretty happy with the whole process, easy to do once you set up a system.
