The 630 is a great springner best I ever owned. but there are lot better AG out there for cheaper.
the 630 sells for 230$ now and for 230$ you can get a QB78/79 and this is the AG i use now insted of my 630
and it's a much better AG

I have a a couple of chinese guns and the are great value for the money.
But the equal of the Slavia...not in my opinion.
With a bit of TLC the chinese are fine...but you just know that the Slavia (like german guns) will be spitting pellet 50 years hence...and still look and feel great. My QB and Bams feel like they'll have long been in the scrap heap in 50 years :D

Ever since I bought the QB79 I have not touch my Slavia 630.
I love my QB79 and I have only had it for a few weeks months
I have Had the slavia since 1985/86 [ bought it with a friend ]
The QB is a better gun for me but every one has a different taste
heck my favorite AG is still my old Bam B1 from 1976/77 but maybe because I had it for many years
and it was a gift from my Dad.

But My go too AG is my QB79 eversince I bought it.

If you get one I may be able to save you a little time pellet testing.
At 10m mine is accurate with just about anything you feed it. RWS Hobby's one ragged hole groups (3 shots) if your doing your thing right.
But at 30m (the length of my outdoor range) it was a different story. On windless day the Hobby's did okay, grouping under an inch (outdoors I shoot 10 shot groups), but even a slight wind opened them up dramatically.
Wadcutters out of 500fps gun don't do well at a distance.
Tried a bunch of pellets before I got tin of JSB RS Exacts (7.3gr).
Wow...on windless day I was getting sub 1/2 groups. My big test was in early Nov, just before the snow hit. Went out one day when the wind was a steady 20 kph with gusts to 35. Took my time, shooting between the gusts and still kept 10 shots under an inch.
I've heard good things from others that the RS are THE field pellet in low powered guns.

Thank you bobtodrick ,

That is a good report . Much appreciated.
Cheers,
