I thought I would share my findings so far on who to get Tanks filled with in ottawa. If you have anything to ADD please let me know. So Far Sharky's seems the most reasonable.

Sharky's

Our compressor can fill to 4500 psi.
The tanks will need to be legal for use in Canada: markings for TC
(Transport Canada)- not just DOT, current Visual Inspection sticker (VIP)-
with air pressure already in the cylinder (an empty cylinder will require a
VIP), a tank valve type we can connect to. Please leave them for about a day
to allow for filling, cooling, and re-topping. Fills of air are either $10.
per fill, or $7.50 per fill with the purchase of a 10 fill air card.

Hi David
We can fill to about 4300 to 4400psi. It would take a few hours to fill the cylinders - we fill let them cool and top them up so you get the best fill possible. The cylinder need to be within their 3 year valid hydro date in order to be filled.
What type of valve do you have on them? I am assuming they are an external thread like on SCOT tanks. $18/Fil

Kanata Diving Supply

The highest pressure we could fill them to would be 3500 PSI.

So I took 5 Tanks to Sharkey's today. Just a heads up. They also want to do a Visual inspection inside the tanks for $12 more per tank or they wont fill it.

i'm not certain, but don't most places charge extra for the inspection for the first fill to make sure it meets specs? I'm OK with the extra charge on mine. looking forward to getting mine! Many thanks for putting this deal together David.
