Hi All,

I'M IN! :D

I really appreciate that Plinkercases has presented a great initiative.

It also would be really fun to have an August airgun weekend. Two days on private property. Include a swap meet, a target shooting competition, demonstrations (kidnap Mike K. from BC & MrMarvin) :) , try out other guns, campfire, music...

People from everywhere would be able to attend.

I think we would need some Field Marshalls for this...

I second this!!!
As a hard core backpacker, camper and off roader this sounds like an awesome idea!!

I know of a place south of Sudbury(I know it's alil far but- we could camp for free- on crown land). There is plenty of open land in the middle of nowhere we could plink til the cows come home. Worry free! Lots of camping space. There is also an abandon prison not to far.

I've had a photography of 25 people- camp here a few times for photo weekends.

OK ....I gather the outdoor idea was a side bar suggesting a club activity....see the excitment growing about having a group formed to organise things! we can get into all that when we have a club.

YES the "club" if it forms has a home range already willing to rent to us. I am in constant communication with thm as question arise.

They are motivated, reasonable rent and want to work with us.

We would get dedicated use every Monday(6-10 but negotiabel hours - I would like to see 5-11) except once every second week. So 7 of every 8 weeks.

Hope this help clear up things. If you are still interested adnhavent already emailed me then please do...I am loosing track of real names and forum names so bear with me.... maker@plinkercases.ca I mix up famaily and pet names...and there are only 3 other humans involved......too many bumps on the head from either inside or outside the skull!

The private range we would be renting is in Toronto just east of the Don Valley Parkway south of eglington north of Danforth.
I can be more specific out of respect for the range/clubs need fro discretion for security reasons.
easy to ge to from 401, and QEW.
lots of parking
on TTC

And for after shooting for those who wish ...there is a good irish pub nearby!
And for before soem decent cheap places to grab a bit for dinner.

This could work out well for me - run straight down the 404 after work. Who's up for some 10m pistol? It only takes two of us to call it a competition :)

thats the spirit. We can have intra club matches and also then connect to the wider club network for inter club stuff and association stuff. Lots of possibilities along with just hanging out plinking away if thats all soemone wants to do.

did anything ever come of this?

I am in the west end, etobicoke, and would be interested in a longer range air gun club indoors or out doors.

thanks
Also trying to get my gun licence close by and during the day seems tough. Any suggestions there?

Absolutely! We've been running continuously and having a huge amount of fun for coming up to two years now.

Email crso@torontoairgunclub.org or contact us via http://www.torontoairgunclub.org/ to arrange a visit and see if it's something you'd like to join.

Regards,
Jim
