The 620 is a long gun. The predacessor of the 630. They were meant for at least 600 and probably would be faster when new. Mine has an original spring but a replacement seal that was custom made from a mold of an original

Interesting i have a 618,624 and two 630 and the 624 is only about 2 1/2" longer in the barrel but the main tube is the same no deference from the 618. so I'm thinking the 620 must be the same as the 624 ? but no were near the 630.

I did a little chrony test and my 618 is only 402fps :( think I'm going to have a look inside see what if anything is wrong.
didn't test the 624 because i just got it the other day and its still a work in progress no internals yet.

Also did a teat on the two 630 and one is more than fine but the other one is shooting a poor 379 :( they also sound and feel very deferent from one another, have to have a peek inside the lower fps one as well.
The beauty of having a well working chrony :D

quick comparison from the top is 618,624,630#1 and 630#2

The compression tube for the slavia 630 and 620 are almost the same length and diameter. The barrel for the 630 is longer by an inch or so. 618,624 are smaller lower velocity models so around 400 is ok

this is why i decided to chrony them because i found it odd that such a little gun could shoot 600fps.
Do you have a pic of them side by side for comparison?
also don't they go up in # like 618,620,624 and so on...im just trying to figure why the 620 can be so deferent then the 624.
thanks

The 620 is a larger model than the 618/622/624 so I would expect it to reach much higher velocities.

cool thanks guys.
I haven't see a 620 beside a 630 thats why I'm asking, i guess the # order doesn't make much of defense with due respect to the size then and if the spring is the same as the 630 that would make a lot of sense fps wise.

Here is a pic:

I would put the size of a 618 closer to the smaller telly, notice the size difference in the breech block and tube between the telly and super telly. Relums though close to the size of a 618, pack a bit more punch

the 620 compression tube is marginally smaller I would guestimate 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, barrel size a little over an inch difference.

A useful link if your interested in the scope of models:
