We do have a Field Target shoot on the 25th of January.

I hope this time we will be able to have a BBQ between rounds.

I need buns BBQ and GAS.

Anyone that can help let me know.

I will bring the Sausages.

Please let me know if you are going to attend, and how many in your party.

I've got a Napoleon BBQ - http://www.napoleongrills.com/grills/pr ... -gas-grill - and a couple of little green propane cans. Will that do the job? Not sure how many folks to expect, but the thing is portable and big enough to cook maybe 15 sausages at once. Mike's picking me up on the way so I'll have to see what he says about car space, but it's like a small suitcase closed up so probably okay. I'll bring my own friggin' veggie sausages cause hey, I'm used to that. Been a non-meat guy for about 36 years now. SURE AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SHOOT DAMMIT! Been a long time watching these posts come up on CAF and finally it looks like I can make it. YAY ME!

That BBQ will fit in my SUV really easily. Sounds like we're all set! Possibly have another friend joining us as well who is just starting to get into airguns, and just did his PAL / RPAL with me.

It's been a honey for the past few years. Picked it up at CT for $109 if memory serves. The inside is fairly easy to clean, and got to love the cast iron grill. Stainless gas tube, nice range of heat, legs fold under for easy carrying (but remember to empty the grease tray before carrying it!), and I can't really see anything wrong with it. Ignition works every time. Enough room to make dinner for 4 in a couple of batches if you're doing bulky stuff like corn and salmon, in one batch if more compact things. I looked at those oval tortoise-shaped things too but the grill area just wasn't big enough.

It seems like about 5 to 10 people.

I'll bring at least 15 sausages. That should be enough. I'm sure you guys can eat the rest up.

I am working in the afternoon but have not been told an exact start time. I might drop my wife off at work and then come out for a few hours. No promises at this point.

I hate it when work gets in the way of my fun....

I will be out for a few hours at least. Will be leaving downtown around 7:30. Factoring in I will get lost I should be there at 8:45 ish.

I'll bring my Stoeger so you all can laugh at me. At 10 meters I should be good. Anything further will be a crapshoot.

Get busy with Chairgun NFG. Set your start and finish ranges, scope centre height relative to barrel, average velocity. Right click on the graph after going into Toolbox > Zero Range Functions... > Optimum Zero Range and pick Print Graph. Go to the second tab in the pop-up window and change the setting to Landscape. Change all 4 of the borders to about 0.3 (less than that seems not to work with my printer) then print. You'll get a nice, easy-to-read curve showing what hold-under or hold-over to use throughout the range for your rifle. Once you've established a good average velocity for your favoured pellet this sort of chart can do wonders for nailing small targets at whatever range. After that it's just a matter of learning how to estimate centimetres (or inches if you configure it that way) above your bull. Almost too easy.

Dang, that early eh? Guess Mike'll be picking me up at around the time I usually start thinking of becoming upright. Okay, I can adapt. When's Sunday? I want it to be tomorrow already.

I hope the weather holds out. It's nice today, I just hope Sunday will be even better.

Remember, if it is a nice day, we will be shooting behind the pond. If you go past the archery range, the road will slpit, hang left, when it split again hang left.

I've got a huge stash of JSBs now just waiting to be shot! At least 10 tins in .177, .22 and .25.

Biagio, are you going to bring that FX along? I'm bringing a bunch of Shoot-N-C sighting in targets, and my Caldwell bags. We can do a full accuracy review of it! I'm going to be doing one with my Hammerli to see which pellets it likes best.
