Here's the best price I've seen:

They also have a deal for only $10 for shipping as a flat rate, if you can do it through online banking. That's over $20 cheaper than Amazon.

Do you mean the CP99 Compact BB Pistol? Walmart is clearing them out for $60, that's less than half price!

No, they're talking about the full-size CP99 pellet pistol.

X2. That's a really decent price for this pistol, but depending upon your personal expectations, there are a lot more interesting options for that kind of money -- and many more once you hit the $200 mark. This gun is a decent shooter, it looks good, and it's well made. It's a decent replica; full marks for appearance, but there isn't a DAO and/or DA/manual SA handgun in this form factor that exists anywhere; it's all about semi-auto action: cock/slide-shunt and shoot 'til empty. So, it's a decent gun. If you only want one, maybe two pistols, it's a good choice if you're a passive/reflective shooter. If you're an active/aggressive shooter (seeking the thrill more than the tight pistol group) get yourself a KWC 1911 form factor (some are $30-35 cheaper than this price for the CP99). Decent accuracy at handgun range (5m-7m) and a hoot to shoot with semi-auto, blowback action.

To paraphrase a well-known member's sig line, you can't own just one air gun cuz one air gun can't do it all, just like one golf club can't serve all purposes to a golfer (or one pan for a chef, one tool for a gardener or woodworker, ad nauseum). As a compromise, this is a good pistol air gun.

Not that you asked for an opinion on the gun :) , but that's the way forums work. I'm sure this comment will generate some comment from the likes of rav, who is also a pistol collector/hoarder, so just reclaim your ownership to the thread; it was not my intent to hijack -- merely to offer comments to a member obviously in buying mode.
