For educational post, check this out - somethign everyone should know. There are many 'old wives tales' out there concerning powders, black and smokless. Note that today, you can purchase real black powder in plastic cans as well as the old tried and true tin/steel can, with steel lids. For 40 years, black powder has been available in bulk which means it is in 25 pound bags made of fairly thick plastic, housed in a heavy card boad box. This is the manner of shipping all over the world for bulk black powder.

This was posted here in the past, I believe. The guys who made the video explain elsewhere how they made it look like the guy was actually hit and wounded by the rebounding steel ball. It was made to look real and they did a good job.
