I m there!

Think for fun we should shoot a third match of pistols! Standing only, one or two hands, optics or no optics and any calibre.

I have a Crosmans 1088 as a spare for someone who doesn't. I'll be using my HW75 in .177.

I'll bring the Pardini and give it a go! Have to remember to do my Theraband and 'Thrower's 10' workout routines every other day until then to make sure my shoulder doesn't give up. Rifle is so much easier on the body than pistol, at least one-handed pistol.

Good to hear you can go Mike, indeed a fine birthday present to yourself. Heck, call the last Sundays of every month your birthday present spread through the year.

The "Two Gun" thing would be fun. I'll see if I can get something together.

I'll bring my Webley Junior pistol if you like! Smoothbore, hitting at a HARD 1.4fpe with RWS Hobby. I've managed 1" groups with it.................. at 6 metres. 8)

Or you could use my baby Desert Eagle. It's a beaut. Shoots BBs at around 400 fps in roughly the direction that it's aimed at!

All joking aside, I'd love a chance to try out my new 2240 job. I managed to scare off some crows with it today, but have little to no idea of what it can do.

Or I made a pretty darn good little slingshot... With 1/4" bearings I can hit a pizza-sized target almost consistently at 10 paces! Nothing like that oldtimer who knocks bugs off his crops with road gravel. Man, how does he do that?

Hi Gerrard

That's it. Pizza box at ten paces. I think I should bring my slingshot. A can at 20 paces minimum.

Before I got my Daisy, my weapon was a slingshot. I killed so many birds with it, I think I wiped yellow Finches off our farm for good.

See you guys on the 29, I'll be there.

Biagio

I am not sure if I brought my slingshot with me to Abbotsford? I will get it when I go back to Victoria Friday night. It is in my bug out bag.

So now it's "three gun" ? Ha ha!

Lent my pocket rocket to a buddy 10 plus years ago to "scare" some raccoons. Never got it back...

Gold to hear you're coming Mike. Can you bring your Chrono again?

I spent some time last night trying to get my 2240 ready but...... no joy. My front sight is wrecked and I need to make something up. Tried a few ghetto solutions but I am not happy with them. Even mocked up a Weaver mount for my RedDot but the plastic breach has no meat to it. I was planing a steel breach down the road and may have to wait.... Not happy. Back to the drawing board...

Hey, if you'd like a plastic Crosman front sight you're welcome to mine. Never used, pulled off the barrel immediately.

Hi Guys

I never owned a Crosman anything. How good can the 2240 get? Is it really target material? Just a question, I wonder about airguns I've never been in contact with. As a kid I got a daisy when I was 11. Then a .22lr when I was 13, Bruno 12g shotgun when I was 16, 30-06 when I was 18.

Interesting to see what you guys have. I love all airguns, pistols and potato canons, and even pumpkin canons.

Air guns are the guns of the future, one of these days it will be extremely expensive to have a powder burner, and it already is.

Just loaded 250 rounds for my 6.5 x 47 Lapua rounds. My goodness, came to $157.45 for 250 rounds, that's nutz.

.22 is the last one to stand, if you can find ammo. Silhouette shoot this coming weekend, if you like to shoot .22 come and give it a try.
I've been stocking up for a few years. The worst ones to find is target ammo. Try this on, a box of Elley tenex (50 rounds ) $30. About 12 years ago, that same box was a mere $2.50.

Biagio:-)
