Told me yesterday he had to get busy and make a muzzle brake/cocking aid thing for someone in Langford. Sounds like between an out of town guest for a few days, the puppies, and his backlog of machine work he's a busy semi-retired guy. But I'm sure he'll get back to you Huck. If you draw what it is you're after that'd make for a good start. Always easier to design something when there's something on paper or an MS Paint sketch to at least talk about.

Nothing special, just a basic RVA,whereby,I don't have to take the back of the gun apart to change out hammer springs, leaving the main rva body still attached. Thanks,Huck

So a bolt with threads larger than the spring, with a stepped down nose on it as the spring guide. Unscrew it all the way and out comes the spring with it. Sound right? Rick can whip one up with one hand tied behind his back while hopping on one foot. ;)

Sorry Huck!
Had my old Army buddy up visiting and drinking!

Here is what I have. $35 shipped! Nicest ones I make. 3/8" brass bolt so you can easily swap springs.

The nice thing about the RVA above, is you can actually lessen the preload of the spring because the rva bolt threads out past the normal spring seat of an end plug. All the way in for piercing and out as far as you like for less power and more shot count.

That looks nicer than the DIY one I made for my disco.
I drilled and tapped for a 3/8 bolt and drilled the bolt for the RVA, which is a thumbscrew and nut I originally got from McMaster Carr, but it didn't allow me to change springs on the fly.

Yeah...I have the original RVA now that's for the 2200,which does not allow changing of springs without removing the whole assembly. Huck
