Has anybody done this to their gun yet. Looking at the parts diagram on Diana's site it looks like you have to switch out the main valve body as well.

On the diagram looks like only the spacer 309272 is the restriction.

Since you have (had?) the gun on sale, Dan, have you thought about bringing a few kits in?

I had the kits ordered which was put together by Markus (Diana Engineer) but then they cancelled the order when GSG bought out Diana.
The guns are not on sale, they're selling below cost price.
Pyramid Air $ 1099.95 USD = $ 1550.05 CAD .... That's on sale .... lol ,,

It is not looking good for Diana right now. I called the new Canadian distributer about ordering these parts a couple of months ago and was told that they can not get parts out of Diana right now. I then e-mailed Diana direct and they told me to deal with the new Canadian distributor.... As for the P1000, I can say that in general it is a very nice gun. I did remove the air restrictor that is behind the regulator and I am getting 495fps with Crossman 14.3grn hollow points. You get a ton of shots on a single charge. I filled mine with a steel scuba tank and it is still on the first fill and have about 125 shots on it and it is still above the yellow. I would like to get the full power parts at some time though as I already have a couple of nice non pal rifles. With full power, this one should take over from my trusty Model 48 as my most powerfull air gun. I hope Diana can turn things around.

To think one must be concerned about buying airguns from Diana because of its financial difficulties is very hard to fathom. How could one of the most long-term, well-respected manufacturers in the air gun industry be in fiscal turmoil? Unless the manufacturer reaches out to its market, we will likely never know for sure. Perhaps it's a matter of requiring corporate restructuring; perhaps it is more serious than that.

In the meantime, we should all remember that Diana products have been around and respected for decades, and they have been well-supported for an equally long time. You will likely never be alone and unsupported with a Diana product; this is a good time for users and enthusiasts to support the brand without underestimating the possibility that restructuring may be very plausible.

On the other hand, this is the Internet and all "reports" may be totally disconnected from the truth.
