Late last night I finally regained consciousness.
I was in a hospital, in agonizing pain.
I was in the ICU with tubes in my nose, needles and IV drips in both arms, a breathing mask, wires monitoring every function ..... and a gorgeous nurse hovering over me.
I realized I was obviously in a life-threatening situation.
The nurse gave me a serious, deep look, straight into the eyes, and I heard her say, "You may not feel anything from the waist down."

Somehow I managed to mumble in reply, "Can I feel your breast, then?"
