Cool, that is the target I have been using for rested 5 shot groups.
I was able to print it with the graphic compressed a touch so there is a little more margin.

The fun starts when I shoot seated but unrested

Yes I find it ideal, although a 40 or 50 target would be cool... don;t think I will be attempting the 100 shot because my trap needs more of a margin

did you get the pistol 6,9 grain or the rifle 8.2 (or whatever) grain?

I have the 8.x grain and will get the 6.9 for my CP88 & 953

Meanwhile Hobbies work well. Almost anything I have tried works well (CPHP jams though, and cheapo crosman wads are a little loose)

just need to chrony the different pellets to see which is best

I have th 7 gr. I find it hard in my area to find good pellets. Cabelas had a good selection when they opened and now they cut it down so the selection isn't very good. I am not sure where else in ottawa to buy quality pellets.Image

Ottawa has a lousy market. I think the best bet is to order online.

The CAF store right here is where many of us prefer buying from. Best prices and excellent service from Sniper Dan!

My two 953's really like RWS Hobby (and good fit in rubber clips), Stoeger x-hunt pointed (hope to chronograph them today), RWS Meister rifle 8.2 grain,

Crosman Premiere Hollow Point get jammed being pushed into chamber (yet my Walther CP88 really likes them and play nice in the rotary clips), Crosman Competition wadcutters group ok but a little small for the rubber clips.

will try to chronograph all my pellets today

I also want to here what pellets the 953 likes.

You can get the rws hobby from this forum's store. I want to try thr rws super hollow points. Write down what pellets you want from the store and email pellet names (and grains) to Sniper Dan for a quote.

Canadian Tire has a dissapointing selection for the 953, but they have Crosman Premiere wadcutters, and premiere pointed (not sure if they will play nice)

Pointed pellets are regarded as least accurate but in the 953 everything is more accurate so for me - pointed pellets are my 'fun destructo' target pellets in the woods.... (bring creative targets ;-) )

Amazon.ca has free shipping if you spend $35, they have a mediocre selection of fairly priced pellets and a good selection of stupidly high cost pellets.... one day I might get the 1250 pack of the Crosman Premier pointed hunting for $29... amazon has cheapo daisy wadcutter for $5.99 which shoot well provided you keep an eye out for all the mis-shaped ones... so that is some cheap shooting.
