Hi,

I am new member here, have just recently got into the shooting sport. Start my training shooting Bulls eye in my gun club with 22lr and want to improve my skills by shooting more often (and cheaper) with a good CO2 air gun in my basement )

I am also a bullseye shooter. Did your club start you off with a semi-auto Ruger? A lot of them do.

There are a LOT of pellet or BB pistols you can choose from. Mostly CO2.

The replica's are pretty good these days with full metal construction and simulated recoil if you want (blowback).

Choose something with adjustable sights if you can..that way you can set them for a 6 o'clock hold (bullseye). As well, get one of the full metal replica's for the added weight. Build up those forearm muscles ;)

In general, spending around $200.00 will get you a decent replica. For that price it will usually be very realistic and full metal construction, unless a polymer frame.

Of COURSE there are more inexpensive and much. MUCH more expensive replica's.

Welcome to the zoo, from another (ok, pretty much former) bullseye shooter!

The DRULOV DU-10 is a great option to practice time/rapid event.

Welcome! Shooting in the basement is good sport for the winter months. Shooting indoors at a gun club, even better.

Yes, they did start with the Ruger MK2 and MK3 but that handgun I have passed a long time ago. Now my work machines are:

1. Vostok Margolin (still in the transfer pending but I am looking forward to practice with it again as I did many years ago)
2. Hammerli 208 International - great gun!

And for my basement practice I am not looking for any replicas, I am looking for great gun with match grip and trigger (Like Steyr LP1, FWB C20).
The issue with those - I can't find where to buy them in Canada ((( But thanks for the list of vendors - will check them!

You are right! But it is like 35-40 min for me to drive to my Gun Club. So, I would prefer to do it only 1-2 times per week ) Other time I would go to my basement and have 15-20min aiming/trigger work practice every evening )))) Of course with air gun only since everything else is illegal and dangerous...

Thanks! Looks like something I would be interested in. I will ask my coach if it is a good gun for me now.

Thanks, that is much better!

The problem is only one - price )
That is why I am looking for something a little bit older and CO2 based )
