Blew dust of my old trusty drozd. It is 15 y.o. by now. Charged the batteries, replaced sealings (was leaking CO2 from every single gap on a mag, literally! ).
The capacitors on the main board is dead and the solenoid can't strike the valve with enough force. The FPS is way below normal. But as a side effect - four full mags per co2 cartridge! :) And it was still able to crash glass bottles on a local junkyard (the good thing about that place - you shoot stuff and then just leave it there).

I wish my steel storm had a stock, like that does.

It's a custom 3d printed stock and it folds to the right side.

But my experience in 3d printing was not so great back then and it looks awful up close... I can shoot a video of it if you interested.

Just made a new front sight post for my newly acquired Crosman V350 bb gun, and installed a QB78 rear sight elevation adjuster ( direct fit :) ). Very nice and solid bb gun, all wood and metal! 8 shots group @8 meters with Daisy Precision Ground Shots in the last pic. Thanks a lot James, love it!

We are visiting my wife's grandparents who live on a farm. Went out looking for varmits with my Discovery and didn't see anything (Papa keeps them away pretty good with the old Cooey). Set up some beer cans at 50 yards and made them dance.

Finally got my package in hand from D&L.

Very nice and organized packed, 6 stars over 5!!

Spent me about 3 to almost 4 hours to get everything done! Not included the time I used in thinking about how to do it in my mind and watched YouTube videoes again and again before I have the stuff delivered....

I thought it should take me half an hour to finish, but I screwed up the damx tiny breech hex screw (I knew that and ordered my backup screw !!), modified the pump arm to resolve the pumping problem (the front end of the pump arm was limited and hitting the 2289 barrel band, so what I pumped was not a complete pump, and even after easy 15 pumps, it's weak and much lowered FPS), not installed the breech gasket well in the first time and resulted in air leaking while press the trigger, had to disassemble everything and start over (and damaged the tiny hex breech screw at the time....). And it's interesting that I thought I would have a hard time while doing the pivot roll pin but actually it's easier than I thought.

Full of tears and blood...Finally get things done! Don't ever make me do it again...and I doubt this things are for 2240 only, not that suitable to be put to the pumper...

####
One last problem remains: it looks the peep hole of peep sight is a bit larger than I used to (actually the whole sight is so big...), and I found it can be turned and removed. So I think I can find different size peep part to replace this obe right ? Anyone have the idea about where to find ??

Cheers.... so tired.... pumped too much times while testing the gun and sighted in the peep sight.....ImageImageImageImageImage

Congrats! Good work! It'll be interesting to see once you get your peep figured out what kind of groups you can get out of it. I've found the crosman barrels really accurate so far out of the 5 I've had.

I think I am still running in the new barrel as it looks gave me a better groups now, but not good enough... I made about 2 inch group from 10 meter before the mod. And now I can make about little bigger than an inch (25 cents coin). But from just 10 meter, I think the gun can do better... but it's also because I didn't setup and table or rests whatever to fix my shooting posture...

And I find a friend who is buying something from Midway USA and pickup later while he go to NY in Sep. Then I will have two 0.050 apertures come back with him! Hopefully I can do much more better with the new apertures...

Hoping to make a cart for it, wheel it around like a AT gun. I got the 1/2" barrel on it now, need to find some stuff to shoot from it now.

Was able to test out my just delivered Drozd Blackbird and Steel Force.

Both work perfectly and are tons of fun ripping up steel cans!!
