Just bought a scratch and dent demo at a local show.

Put 30-40 7.9 gr milk carton crosman points through it, then over the chrony.

Actually not bad, for all the slamming that's going on in the tube. Avg 467.6 over 10 shots. Highest was 473.3, and lowest was 459.6.
Can't break her open with a normal push on the bbl. Have to give her a slight open handed slap with the left, and right holding as close to the hinge joint as I dare. After that, it cocks quite easily. Everything appears well done except the breech face. Lots of small burrs over the loading hole. It takes a great deal of force to seat a 8.2 gr Meister in there~ otherwise I would have tested with them.

It's loud- almost sounds like a .22 short revolver going off- Ka pow! First 3 shots were dieseling stinkers

Sometime when I get these other naggling projects out of the way, I'll clean up the breech face and innards, and see if I can't tame down that harsh firing cycle.

The scope that came with it- a Centre Point Optics 4 X 32 was totally useless from the get go. I'd get a clearer image through a pinhole in a box. Filed it in the junk box. When great grandkids get big enough to play with it, it'll be theirs. I don't really want to saddle another shooter with such blurred glass- and yes the focussing ring works, but helps minimally...

Fibre optic opens on it aren't bad. They're kinda big dual color dots. I can hit 12 ga hulls with them at 15 paces. Good enough.
Stuck a 4x32 RWS/Umarex scope on it, and it hits well.

I do better with it from kneeling than I do rested over a log with my left hand between the log and forearm. Probly just poor springer form on my part...

That slim blonde wood makes her a keeper, though

The full manual safety is a welcome departure for me. Auto safeties get in the way after a while.
