Blah that's almost summer compared to this morning. -24C on the clock and -33 with the wc. Lucky for us the wind was a mere 4km/h as it could easily be a lot higher. Walking kids a block to school was painful and I was fully dressed, including a very warm balaclava.

-28°C with no wind this morning at 5 o'clock, -20°C this afternoon (-36° wind chill factor). Crispy snow and peaceful streets, I love that  . I'm a cold weather lover :D .

Well we're supposed to go down to -43 with wind or colder over the next couple days.. that's just plain ugly.

Perfectly seasonable weather (for us); we're just not acclimatized, due to Mother Nature being so gentle with the onset of the season this year. . . .
That being said; I work outside, and I'm working a very full slate tomorrow. I might whistle a different tune by evening. . . .

Al, I did roofing in Banff a long time ago, during the winter. I can relate and feel your pain. You know it's too damn cold to be up on a roof when the pneumatic nail guns fail to work, due to the internals freezing when the temp hits -25C.

Btw learn something new everyday. A friend that delivers mail in Toronto is bitching about the weather there. Something to do with a Colorado low. That's a new one for me. We all know what an Alberta Clipper is, but a Colorado low is a new one for me. Funny how Ontario gets hit from every angle.

Alerts for: City of Toronto
Statements
8:49 PM EST Friday 16 December 2016
Special weather statement in effect for:

City of Toronto
Another significant snowfall tonight into Saturday morning.

A Colorado low is tracking towards Southern Ontario. Snow will continue tonight and Saturday morning. Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres are likely with a few locales receiving 10 to possibly 15 cm.

Edit: due to the Christmas rush, he is working all through the weekend. Yep, he'll be bitching tomorrow.
