I am thinking of buying one of these but I am not sure what type of optics to use on it and I am looking for some recommendations. I would not use it for hunting but more for target shooting and should the need ever arise fending off zombies. I will admit it is not very practical, but it is cool. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas.

Great gun...but just what are your expectations as to target shooting.
You may already know...but the .22WMR is not known to be an extremely accurate round.
For example...a 'good' .17HMR will easily group under an inch at 100m...a 'good' WMR will be in the 1.5" at the same distance.
In fact a WMR that shoots 2" is not considered to be a bad gun.
I love my .22WMR...it's a great hunting round for small game/varmints...but it isn't what I would consider a target round.
Read this...if you're fine with the accuracy of the WMR, the CZ is, as I say a great gun http://www.chuckhawks.com/compared_17HMR_22WMR.htm
