Hello everybody. A few weeks ago I contacted Daisy with a question regarding the manufacture of a .22 cal SSP. The person who replied had been with the company for 35 years. He said that Daisy had marketed a couple of .22 cal SSPs some time ago. " He was not specific on when" And that they were dropped from their line soon after. I can not find any information on any .22 cal SSP rifles sold by daisy or that they ever did have one.
Does anybody know about any such air rifle ?

I know you are thinking rifles, but Daisy made a .22 SSP pistol some time in the past. You've no doubt heard of the 717, 747 and 777 line of .177 SSP pistols. There was also a 722 .22 one. Maybe that was what he was thinking of.

When I was much younger I had one......it was very close to the Crosman 761......the bolt handle was broken and I remember using a wood screw in its place. My mother wouldn't buy me ammo so I used to shoot small pebbles with it lol.

Daisy made a number of air rifles in .22 caliber that were multi-stroke pneumatics. The following is the information I found:

Model 1922 Powerline, made around 1978-1980.
Model 22SG, 550 fps, 2002-2007, 2010-2011
Model 22X, 550 fps
Model 922 (presumably in .22 cal.), with five-shot clip, 1978-1980
Model 822, 1976-1978
