Yeah - during the 2016 year, the FBI saw 27,500,000 background checks. Now, if you believe the numbers (no reason why you should, actually) the Demos say MOST firearms sales, especially at guns shows in the USA do not have background checks. So - is that another 27,500,000 firearms at least? Over 55,000,000 is a BIG, BIG number.

However, go to a gun show in the States and you cannot buy without a BG check- the FBI tries at EVERY gun show there is- same answer every time - need BG check.
