Very nice Al , and not too bad a power level from a big bore Co2 rifle. >45 fpe nothing to sneeze at thats for sure.
By chance did you slug out the bbl for its true size?

Indeed I did. :)

My "less expensive" mic gave me two readings in different locations on the slug. .3000" and .3005" at the groove. By tooling marks, believe the barrel to be cut rifled.

Nice job, Al.... I saw a unique, and simple, way of making tank blocks used by W.A.R..... Instead of boring the inner hole for an O-ring, Travis just cuts an O-ring seat on the outer face, that seals against the shoulder on the CO2 tank valve or regulator.... ie outboard of the threads.... It's not better, just easier to make, as you don't have to bore the inner hole accurately, nor worry about damaging the corner with the tap.... Of course you were single pointing, so less problem there....

Thanks Bob, might be quicker that way but I did bore them for the stock oring. Had the boring bar to bring it out to final for the threads anyway, so no extra setup and just a few more minutes.

Looking Sharp!! Nice clean job,

I made several thousand of items just about like those, all one piece,
except they had another stud sticking out where the hole was,
made from 1'' material, used for the security doors on the pickup trucks,
for Armored Trucks.

Cut the stud to required dimensions,
remove pc and flip over, cut the second stud etc.
Dialing in the 4 jaw was fun, had to be within .001" when checked etc
always lots of fun. :wink:

Looking Sharp, very good uniform dimensions etc.

What is the C/L hole distance between the tube stud and the bottom hole?

Have you thought about using cornering bit, instead of the flat face cuts on the sides,
could save you some time/effort with a radius corners etc.

Outstanding work.

I am thinking about building the same, only have the tank threads come out on the same side as the tube stud,
then the bottle can be tucked up under the stock, or run out the other side like yours,
kinda have a choice on whatever way to want to mount the tank/bottle etc.

CTC is .762". This will allow a 60mm bottle to clear the barrel without a riser breech being needed.

Thought about using a round over bit, but the tubes are .875" and the blocks are 1"...radii would not match up...would look odd to my eye.

These will all be "bottle forward" to my preference, there are fellows looking for reverse blocks if you were so inclined.
