Was there anything of interest to report when it crossed the border; did you have to get it pre-registered?
When I asked for classification of these last year, I was told all except the MPX in .22 would be classified as Restricted - because of a combination of the velocity and "they look a bit like an AR"... When I pointed out that this made no sense according to the rules and asked for re-assessment, I got no reply. Maybe because they didn't want to admit a mistake but anyway, it would be useful to know where they now sit in the classification.

Nothing of interest was reported. I took a chance and hoped it would make it across. It did spend 4 days at the border, though. From what I've heard, some have made it across and some didn't. I think the seller from California has stopped selling them because they were getting confiscated at the border. I did email them my PAL and I think they put it inside the box. I think that's what may have helped get mine across. I know that Airgun Source sells the MPX version.

Very interesting, thanks.
I saw the MPX on AGS and watch them both on Amazon too but only noticed the MPX ever have a price on it.

Havin a look here to set this rifle up for the higher pressure of
An HPA setups. Looks like the valve has a weak return spring that
may not open the valve as good on a bottle regulated to 1100 psi
Or more from the co2 850ish pressure rating.
Also, the striker pin could be longer to get more air in ther. No doubt
This was designed to be co2 only and although HPA is a great upgrade
For cost Efficency, cold weather use and a better choice for rapid shooting
and plinking, I don't really see it gaining a bunch of fps unless a stronger valve
Was turned out of stainless.

My focus on this MPX for now is to get the smallest, lightest HPA bottle to attach,
Figure out a stock option, get some AR15 Skeletonized grips, and maybe work on
An extended mag to match the HPA bottles shot count. Always a work in progress
But I want a fast to point, high round capacity fun Plinker and I think this Rifle has
The potential to be a lot of fun.

Hmm, do we know any machinists that could turn out a stainless valve?

I think we know a couple, a few in fact.
While we're at it, might as well swap out the barrel
And drill out the magazines.

Had a chance to use up a 90 gram co2
Yesterday but only at 9 meters.
I emptied the co2 after 5 magazines
As the velocity was getting low,
But the accuracy was still good.

This is a pic of the 5th mag (shot 120-150),
30 shot group at 9m, rested, indoors.
Each shot about a second apart.
Using the included sig sauer branded LED light sensing Red dot.

Ps. I'm curious to see more accuracy testing with different
Pellets as I've only shot 8.44 jsb's.

Hahah forming? It's been an addiction
For a while just focusing it on this right now.

It's a fun, accurate, 30 round Plinker.
I think she's a keeper. Just needs alittle
More bark.
