Hello everyone, i have been shooting the Crosman Premier 7.4gr pointed pellets out of my Crosman Optimus 495fps. They are not very accurate (1.5 inch group). I am looking for a more accurate pellet and am wondering what pellet you guys shoot out of the gun. this is the 495fps one. thanks

I have tested about 10 different pellets in my Optimus-500 and so far it seems to prefer the H&N Sport. At 20 yards it was averaging slightly under 0.50"ctc for 10 groups of 5 shots each. It also seems to be showing some attraction to the JSB Exact and Stoeger X-Field (H&N FTT).

Get the JSB test kit. Don't be surprised if all four types of ammo don't shoot well. I don't have an Optimus, but my Surge and Leverage dislike all the Crosman pellets I've tried.

That's really good groupings.
