It could be done without the breech band- but that would mean a Lotta fartin around finding a 4x40 tap for a breech screw, and then turning the heads down on the screws to fit the breech hole. I know C/T has that size as their smallest- not quite as small as the factory original....

This job would be far easier with even a manual mill table and end mill. I have yet to be a lottery winner or otherwise wealthy enough for such toys.

So how is your 2100 project doing Doc Sharptail? What is the average fps you are getting at 10 pumps? I still think that is amazing getting basically 500 fps with 3 pumps! If it was converted to .22 I suppose it might take 4 or 5 to get the same fps but that is pretty amazing! :D

It pretty well tops out at ten pumps, due to the increased swept volume, and small valve volume.
Avg. 657.1 for ten pumps with the slightly heavy 8.6 gr. pellet. Extreme spread is still good at 10.5 fps over 10 shots. Going to 15 pumps yields an increase of only 18 fps- not much point in pumping more than 10. I'd have to go to the larger volume 13-XX valve to heat things up any further.

To be honest, I really like the upper 490's in 3 pumps. The R-10 8.2 gr pellets the bbl likes seem most stable around the 3-4 pump mark. I have been shooting it a lot lately with the big 6-24 X banner aboard at 12X...

Nice! You must be shooting fair distances, to have it on 12 power. How is it grouping? That sure makes it nice hey having to only pump 3 or 4 times between shots!

Not that far- just 12 M , which is all I can get this time of year (indoors). I do like to be able to see the center of the "X" on the small bore targets I use. Less tendency to "swim" like the dot on a B/R target...
Seeing the edges of the pellet holes is never tiring to me. Shooting from rest is a bad habit for me. It sort of ruins my off-hand technique....

I'm ln trouble now. I made an RVA for it last night. Mostly because I'd like to see how much I can back off on hammer spring tension before velocity starts dropping down. Went 5/16 X 24 for ease of fine adjustment. No chance to mount or test it. I will check fit and hopefully test shoot next week some time.

The 24" 1760 bbl that's on it right now is very accurate. It will stack a good variety of pellets one on top of the other. It loves R-10's, meisters, Premier ultra mags, and even the cheap Daisy wad cutters...

Nice! I went with a smaller bolt on my 1322 but it would be nice to have the ability to change/adjust springs without removing everything. [emoji4] I might have to drill it out bigger sometime soon

It will take a bigger hole than 5/16" threaded 24 tpi n.f. to pass a 13-XX / 2100 hammer spring through. Neither will fit.

I tapped mine for 3/8-18 and it wobbles, 3/8-24 should be much better.

Got the RVA into the rear of the gun. What a huge change. With the screw set to no load, it retains a little tiny air fart at ten pumps. 4 turns in, and I'm back to full power.

The big change is in trigger pull weight. I don't have to go any where near coil bound for full power, and I'll get to experiment with retained air as a further bonus...
