After many months of waiting, all the stars have aligned and I have 90% of my gun parts in hand and setup. I still have a lot of setup work and adjusting to do, but now I have everything required to start all that so the games can begin. I've already tuned the action, changed a few of internals, put a lightweight short stroke kit into it and lapped the barrel.

A big thanks to Jeff H for bringing the stock from the UK for me, Warren Edwards was great to deal with, so was Brian Samson and Rowan Engineering. Rowan shipped the hamster to Warren and Brian dropped off the hook at his house free of charge. The scope rail is from AJP Engineering and they do excellent work, we had a mix up with the colour at first, but they took care of everything. Tom P has lent me his follow wing to test out with my hook, that is piece on top of the butthook with the two little fingers or wings.

Now I need to get my yardage/click marking sorted out and start spitting lead, I have only put 500-600 rounds thru this rig, I would like to have at least 1500 pellets thru it to know it is broken in.

It matches my 1377 too!!!

That is a work of art - almost too pretty to take into the field. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Thanks peterdulux, the stock is from Warren Edwards which was about $850, plus the other components and the TX is a UK model

Cheers

Thanks Kelly, yes it has a short stroke kit with extended rod and lightweight piston, very quick shot cycle

It is pretty, but at the end of the day it is a tool, I cant wait to start into more testing and setup.

It is gorgeous. Can you be sure its just a tool, a utilitarian implement designed to fulfill a function, what with the colour coordination involved on the stock, the hamster, the riser, the side wheel, and scope cap?

What can I say; I dont like ugly tools, when I said "at the end of the day" to me that means its primary function, but, yes I would like it to look good, I try not spend money on things I can't stand to look at

The primary advantage or selling point to me is the adjustability and being custom made to fit me and when given the option to get these things made in my favorite colours I might as well make it look how I would like. Also I hate the look of polished/brushed metal on a gun or on most things for that matter. So yeah, I stand by it being a tool, that is its primary function to me, I don't sit around and look at it (that often), I go out and shoot it

Plus it looks cool, so it is instantly accurate, that is just science...
