A few pics of a 2260 conversion I did. I still have a couple of finishing touches to do to it.
Presently has Steel Breach, 24" Barrel, Leapers 3x9 Bug Buster Scope, the usual internal mods to trigger and the like.
The only issue I encountered with this project was with the 24" barrel. In order to keep it under 500fps I had to install a very light hammer spring. It now requires 4-6 hammer strikes to pierce the CO2 cartridge. Not a big deal but I will likely shorten the barrel a bit once I install a muzzle brake.
With the long barrel it is very easy on CO2, I lost count after about 60-70 strong shots.
I finally got it outside to shoot at distance last fall. Quite accurate out to about 20-30 yards, though I could watch my pellets starting to lob on target through the scope after about 20 yards or so.

Just need a 2260 maintube and the filler rod assembly. Or you can use your 2240 piercing knob and make a rod.

Everything else from the 2240 will work. I don't bother with 2240s anymore. I hate being restricted.
