Post subject: Piston vs. Spring vs. Scopes ??

Would a nitro piston be easier than a Springer on scopes? Could a conventional CF scope survive on a gas piston rifle? I have a couple spare rifle scopes I'm wondering if they could be used on a BSA ?

Well the original scope on my Nitro Venom was great for two years.I decided to upgrade anyway and put on a higher quality scope......and the original nitro venom scope I put on my "tuned" pal rated phantom(springer).It lasted 2 weeks (1000 shots or so) on the springer and the new scope on the Venom is still perfect.Springers need the toughest scopes possible.
