Bought this recently off a member here and only had a chance to try it today. I haven't shot a pellet gun since I was a kid and all my powder burners are scoped. At 15 yds I put them all into an inch with the factory open sights. Just slapped on a Hawke 3x9x40 AO AirMax. I bet this thing will punch amazing groups when I try it with the scope. Gotta say this thing is a real pig weight wise ( especially scoped ) and the side crank is cumbersome to use but it sure is accurate. A fixed barrel just has to be inherently more accurate. Nice rig, lookout vermin.

Under or side lever rifles have the potential to be more accurate - however, that is potential only as one should perhaps watch some accuracy tests from less than perfect rests, by the blokes in the UK using Sandwell Field Sports tuned HW springers.

Update: so I mounted the scope today ( Hawke 3-9x40 AirMax AO. This rig is already incredibly accurate. Bought some heavier Hollow points to see how they group. Coming from high end center fires I do find the 2 stage trigger a challenge. I'm used to virtually no creep or ovrtravel. My Sako's trigger breaks like glass. Am I wrong to assume this just isn't possible with an AG?

Should be a t06, adjustable, should break like glass. I shoot pb,'s at long distance and find the t06 like a 8.5/10. The record is a 9.5/10

I meant the HW record trigger.
