I set up 12 shooting stations throughout our wooded coulee with various paper targets of small critters. 4 out of 5 of my grandsons (youngest decided not to shoot) hiked through the coulee to find and shoot the targets. My oldest granddaughter and my 2 sons and daughter also tagged along on the hunt. All guns were carried magazine out/bolts open between target stations and at each target one shooter at a time loaded one shell and fired. Was a great time!

I printed out some free targets and stapled them to plywood....

Yes- well done indeed. Some of those kids have VERY good form. To some extent, form changes slightly with gun fit.

I totally approve. I am a strong believer that safety of any sort should start sooner than later and you can't actually learn gun safety without handling a gun.
