52-C Sporting repro. Weaver G-4 with fine target cross-hair aboard. It's a mid 50's G-4 by the exposed turrets.

BDT maxxed at 25 and 50 yds. #18 F.P. Top Gun White Feather list. (25 yds)

She's still got it. Not bad for a caffeinated old geezer with a 4X scope. 25 yds kneeling took out the pull ring tab rivet. Win Super-X 38 gr h/p.

Quite possible on RFC or CGN :partyman:

How did you mount that G4? Seem to only remember seeing these scopes with side mounts.

RFC most likely. I remember a Mike talking about a Browning 52 from Canada...

Those rings are a bit of a collector's effort~ 3/4" Weaver base rings made by Weaver. There was a time that 3/4" was the only tube available... I think the Springfield collector's have snapped them all up for turning their 03's into sniper copies... If I remember correctly, the Collmargen bear cub was the first 1" tube.

Edit: that 3/4" tube refers to U.S. made optics. The Germans were far ahead with 27 and 30 mm tubes.
