I'm not sure, it's pretty cheap I think if you happen to have a paintball gear store nearby. Buying a tank isn't bad. You can buy a 48ci tanks for like 50$ some places. Here is a great deal, $25 for a used but freshly
tested and certified for 5 years 48 ci tank and regulator. Cheap shipping too, especially if you buy two! http://www.gqpaintball.com/store/p4/Use ... _Tank.html

Got my Qb78 working again! Took it apart and didn't find anything in the delrin stem that I could see causing any trouble. I decided to file it skinnier to let more air by when fired. Did that then put some tooth paste on the stem and put it into the drill and kept pulling back on it as I spun it to work a seat into it again. Cleaned it up and put it back together with a lighter spring from a crosman 1322 trigger/sear. Still had to pump like crazy to get it to stop leaking but it sealed up and has held 1100psi for about 7 hours now. I'm happy! Never got a chance to shoot it yet, looking forward to seeing if there is any performance difference with the lighter spring and the delrin filed down.

I'm getting a more consistent string now but less shots. Will have to fiddle a little more with it. Right now it's getting around 40 shots in the 870 to 830fps range. Maybe I'll try out putting a few orings against the back of the valve stop, see what that does.

I figured out the volume of my two 90g tanks at 267.76 cc, added the tube and valve volume of the qb78 at 49cc (according to a post from Bob Sterne) and added another 3 cc for fittings, coming to a total of around 317cc. That gives this last shot string an efficiency of 1.78fpe/ci per shot, which is pretty good I think! It actually beats out my longer shot string by a little bit so I was wrong about it being less efficient now.

Any I dea how many fills I will get from that tank.?? also do you have a source for the bulk fill attachment that goes in the end cam and the hose for the tank to the gun. hard to find a place that ships to Canada.

ps- thanks for the link to that tank. in the process of ordering it now. that's a good price.

Yeah! I figured it was a pretty sweet price too. That tank will give you a ton of fills! Only I'm sure it's regulated to 800psi. So you may want to buy a different regulator for it set to 1500psi, which is the limit for safety that you can fill your gun tube to.
Here is one regulated to 1500psi. Make sure you choose epacket for shipping method, otherwise you'll be waiting forever to get it.

(from AliExpress Android)
Scopesandammo.com or canadashootingsupply.ca both have those bulk fill caps I'm pretty sure. Look under the QB section in either site.

You can ask them, send them an email and ask for the regular post free shipping option. For small things like that they'll give you a coupon code for free shipping. They are super to deal with!

An alternative, if you have the 1/8 npt tap is to take out your screw in the middle of your end cap, drill and tap a blind hole, then from the other side use a smaller bit on an angle to drill into your hole on the other side.
(do this to avoid damaging your co2 cartridge prickly thing that opens up your cartridge when you screw in the end cap).
Then screw in a 1/8npt foster fitting /one way valve quick connect, after drilling out the end cap large enough to allow the 1/8npt threads to slide through. Your fitting then replaces the screw that held the cap onto your plug. Here is a foster fitting you could buy off AliExpress as well :
New Paintball Airsoft PCP 8MM Male Quick Head Connection Check Valve One Way Foster Stainless Steel Fill Nipple M10*1
http://s.aliexpress.com/2qE3mu6B
(from AliExpress Android)
Make sure and choose the 1/8npt version and not the metric one, and choose epacket, even if it is $5 shipping, it's worth it. Other places sell these in Canada as well but are more expensive. Mine works great from AliExpress.

My parents are out for a visit, so, my dad and I went out early this morning, did some shooting mostly of pop cans at 30 and 40 yards. Had a great time! Shot some targets too. Dad was shooting the crosman 760/1322 carbine pumper pcp, and I was shooting my qb78. Both were shooting really well.
Here is a 5 shot group with the qb78 at 40 yards.

Did some more modifications on my Qb78D. Took the extra tank off and cut out the bottom of my stock to fit the 88g cartridge into the stock. Definitely need to do more work on the stock, refinish it etc and plan on painting the tank black once I get some aluminum primer. Anyway it feels waaay lighter now and without the scope it's just over 7lbs so quite a bit lighter anyway, pretty much back to stock weight.
It'll get 19 shots between 890 and 905 fps with 21 grain barracudas, but I haven't had a chance to see how these group yet. I think I'll probably end up tuning it for around the same speed or so with jsb 18.1 or 15.9 gr as I know those shoot great.
Always something fun to tinker around with!
Found out the burst pressure on these 88g jt are between 8122psi and 7832 psi so divided by 3.5 should make the safe working pressure of the cartridges between 2200-2300psi, which is nice, at least makes a guy feel a bit safer using them. The valve retention block on my Qb78 is also right tight against the valve so that is another help in safety, though I plan on picking up the high tensile screw kit from the UK as well for extra peace of mind. [emoji4]
The fitting on the front has a 15,000psi burst pressure so should be good and the 1/8 npt male fittings have a 5000 psi working pressure. Image
