Seems like you are confusing oz. (the way CO2 tanks are measured, which is the WEIGHT of CO2 they hold).... and CI (the internal volume of HPA tanks, which is the volume of water they would hold in cubic inches).... There are 16.4 cc's in one cubic inch (CI)....

Yes, I get very confused on this type of stuff,
and when it is in metric measurements, it all goes out the window.........

Is tanks and cylinders the same, as I have seen then referred as the same?

What is the proper way to refer to each, ie?,
88/90 grams of co2 in a cyl is = to the weight of co2 or volume size?

Grams are a unit of weight, as are ounces.... Volume is measured in cubic centimeters or cubic inches....

I am going to make up a cheat sheet for this stuff etc.

Questions for you or anyone else that knows,

When using Co2,
Can you get liquid Co2 inside the AR, from the 88/90 gram bottles,
if you shoot at a high angle, 45* or higher, ie, starlings/HS sitting in 50-75' high trees?

My blind is set up between 15-20 yds from several trees, they set in just before they,
they drop down to the water guzzler (ground level), I have set up for the good birds to water from.

Or should I contain my shots to more level shots?

Will this liquid Co2 cause any damage to the AR or me?
I am not worried about HPA etc.

Can you "Dry Fire" the QB rifle, with no damage to the AR?

Almost any CO2 rifle can get liquid CO2 into the valve (there are a few exceptions, where the tank is underneath, facing forward).... It does not harm the gun in any way, but it does waste CO2, and depending on the temperature and relationship between valving and hammer strike, can change the velocity (up or down).... Usually you will not notice a change in POI, but you may see a "fog" in front of the muzzle.... This is very common in Crosman 22XXs for the first few shots on a new cartridge....

I can think of no reason that a QB would suffer damage from a dry fire, either empty, or charged with CO2 or HPA and no pellet loaded....

This is the way my QB-79 will be adapted and shot/used etc,

I was concerned about the way the Co2 bottle/tank was pointed when taking hi angle shots
in the trees etc, with the Co2 being liquid and running into the AR etc.

Yep, typical QB79 arrangement.... I wouldn't have any safety concern, but as I say, high-angle shots with liquid CO2 in them may vary in velocity.... The main tube and valve is slightly above the tank.... so you could minimize the amount of liquid by dropping the muzzle below the tank between shots....
