Hi!

I've seen several videos regarding the quality of both the Pellet and BB colt 1873's. I'm wanting to buy a pellet version, and am wondering how everyone has found the durability? Examples I can give of where I have been disappointed:

I was maybe 8 Co2 canisters into the older style crosman .357 pellet revolver when the seals failed.

This was a weird one: My Umarex Makarov pistol did last over a year, but eventually the slide metal had somehow bent, as the slide was moved back it locked itself, and I was unable to return to a forward position, as the hammer jammed beneath it!

My new crossman 2240 has begun to show signs of rust just a few months after buying it.

I really use my air guns! I'm not a collector but I take care of what I own, however it will find itself in the snow, trees and rain.

So what do you all think! Is this one I'll be using in 10 years? What's been your experience?

Looks like no one has an answer, I did find a video that shows the brass barrels do wear out and fail in the BB shooter when shooting steel BBs.
