Hi guys,

I was shooting with a friend of mine and he was using my beeman p17 while I was shooting with my 2240.

He forgot that he had already loaded the gun and opened it to put a pellet in to find out that he already had one in.

Can he just close it again or we have something to do in order to not break the pistol by cranking it twice without shooting ?

Thanks.

It will be fine to shoot. There is no check valve so it will only hold one pump of air. When you open up a pumped P17 you also expose the intake hole.
