 Post subject: PROBLEM WITH PPK/S

HI GUYS, i HAVE A PPK/S CO2 BB AND RECENTLY THE HAMMER IS NOT REACHING THE VALVE PIN AND THE GUN DOES NOT FIRE.
WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS FACED THIS PROBLEM , I THINK THE TRIGGER SPRING IS WEAKENED, WANTED OPINIONS BEFORE OPENING THE GUN. ANY FEED BACK WILL BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Thanks , well I am from India and working in aftersales service for Mercedes, BMW Audi and such cars, my father being from army back ground I was always around guns and here we have a group of like minded guys who are all into airguning.
we have strict laws here anything above .177 needs forearm licence. found your forum while browsing the net and it will be a pleasure to be a member.

Try contacting D&L Airguns in Canada https://www.dlairgun.com/
They are a warranty shop for Umarex (the makers of your PPK/S).
There have been a couple of times where John (their service tech) has walked me through a simple problem over the phone or via e-mail because it wasn't a problem that really required me to send the gun to them.
They are great people...be nice when you contact them and I'm sure they will help you out if they can.

Make sure the small screw on the top of the slide is tight, and that the action is well lubed. Those are the most common problems with the ppk.
