I'm considering (really wanting to) modding a 2240 with a multishot breech. The two main brands I've come across are the BNM and Gmac.

Do any of you have experience with either of these makes? They both take Marauder magazines so I'm thinking that they are pretty much the same.

The one thing the BNM one has which I do like is the option to fit a shroud. I really like the look of the shrouded barrel (without the baffles of course).

Shrouds look super on the 2240, if you are going to spend the couple hundred on the breech, if it was me, I'd do the shroud too!

I got the Gmac breech. Only negative thing I could say about it, I had to modify scope rings to clamp onto the rail.

I have the BNM with the shroud, It works great most of the time but has jammed a couple of times on me. Using JSB pellets. I have a set of Iagent of grips on it and it is a great looking pistol.
Had a bit of a go with customs over the shroud but once they talked to my wife and found out it was for an air gun they let it through.

The more I think about it. I do like the shroud so the BNM does seem to be the one to go with.

I was also thinking about making a 1740 by changing the breech and barrel but then I thought what is the difference between a 1740 and a 2300?
